Most english versions of the scriptures allow us the option to purchase the bible with the sayings of Jesus highlighted in red. While that may be important for some, it is more important for us to recognize that all of scripture is the word of God. The Holy Spirit has overshadowed the prophets of the old testament and the apostles in the new, to write ‘thus saith the Lord’. 

The apostles are a special group of men, chosen by Jesus to carry the gospel throughout the world  in all nations and language, and thanks be to God, that mandate was executed because we are living recipients and proof of this awesome gospel of salvation.

Just like the Lord sends out his apostles into the world, the devil does the same with his ministers as “wolves in sheep’s clothing” (Matthew 7:15). Their job is to spread another doctrine, contrary to the doctrine that was preached by the apostles, leading souls to eternal damnation. 

In contending for the faith which was once delivered to the saints, The Ultimate Measuring Stick (TUMS) is endeavoring to lift up a standard, in promoting the apostle’s doctrine. Jesus told his disciples in Luke 10:16 “He that heareth you heareth me, and he that despiseth you despiseth me, and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.” …(To be continued…)
